Tubbataha Reef damaged again now by Chinese Vessel!

The damage to Tubbataha Reef caused by a Chinese fishing vessel that ran aground there before midnight on  April 8-Monday may not be as extensive as that of the minesweeper USS Guardian — at least based on the area affected, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said on Tuesday according to GMA News.

Meanwhile according to Inquirer.net,  the militant umbrella group Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) said Tuesday that the government should not only file a formal protest but also “demand accountability and compensation” from China for the grounding of a Chinese vessel at Tubbataha Reef in the Sulu Sea.
