Here's Bagyong Dante PAGASA Latest Update- June 8, 2013.
At 4:00 a.m. today, Tropical Depression "DANTE"was estimated based on all available data at 690 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.1°N, 129.5°E)with maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center. It is forecast to move North Northwest at 11 kph.
Estimated rainfall amount is from 5 � 15 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression.
Tropical Depression "DANTE" is far to directly affect any part of the country. However, it will enhance the Southwest windflow that will bring rains and thunderstorms over Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
Meanwhile, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 100 km North of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan (10.7°N 118.7°E). This will bring moderate to heavy rains over Palawan especially over the northern part.
