Here's Bagyong 'Fabian'- PAGASA Latest Update. In PAGASA, 5 p.m. bulletin on Thursday, the weather bureau said Fabian was last seen 270 kilometers northwest of Iba, Zambales with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour.
The Low Pressure Area (LPA) West of Batangas has developed into a Tropical Depression and was named "FABIAN" .
At 4:00 p.m. Today, the center of Tropical Depression "FABIAN" was estimated based on all available data at 270 km Northwest of Iba, Zambales (16.7°N, 117.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move North Northwest at 11 kph.
Estimated rainfall amount is from 5 - 15 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression.
Tropical Depression "FABIAN" has no direct effect to any part of the country. However, it will enhance the Southwest Monsoon which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over the western section of Luzon particularly Palawan.
