Catch Bagyong Gorio- PAGASA Latest Update on June 29, 2013. Tropical Depression "GORIO" has accelerated and moves towards Eastern Visayas.
Meanwhile, at 6:00 p.m. today, 28 June 2013, the center of Tropical Depression "GORIO" was estimated based on all available data at 310 km East of Maasin, Leyte (10.2°N, 128.0°E).
Estimated rainfall amount is from 5 - 15 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression.
Residents living in low lying and mountainous areas under signal # 1 are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides.

At 7:00 a.m. 29 June 2013, the center of Tropical Storm "GORIO" was estimated based on all available data at 50 km East of Borongan, Eastern Samar (11.3°N, 125.7°E).
Tropical Storm "GORIO" has made landfall over Hernani, Eastern Samar.
Public Storm Warning Signals elsewhere are now lowered.
Residents in low lying and mountainous areas under signals #2 & #1 are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Likewise, those living in coastal areas are alerted against big waves or storm surges generated by this tropical cyclone.
