Tropical Storm "LABUYO" has intensified as it continues to move west northwest in the general direction of Northern Luzon.
Estimated rainfall amount is from 5 - 16 mm per hour (moderate - intense) within the 400 kmdiameter of the Tropical Storm.
The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 5 PM today.
Signal No.1 was issued at Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quirino and Catanduanes/

At 3:00 PM today (11 August 2013), The eye of Typhoon “#LabuyoPH” was located based on all available data at 130 km North of Virac, Catanduanes or 240 km Southeast of Casiguran, Aurora (15.2°N, 124.5°E).
Signal No. 1 Albay, Sorsogon, rest of Quezon, Laguna, Calayan, Babuyan, Ilocos Norte, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Metro Manila.
