ccording to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the strong quake occured 1 kilometer East Northeast of Tibanban town in Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental at magnitude 5.5 and a depth of 61.37 km.
There were no immediate reports of damages and injuries in connection with the Davao Oriental earthquake, which rocked the province while its commemorating the first anniversary of Typhoon Pablo.
