Arrival Honors for the Fallen SAF Members Nasaan ang Pangulo

During the Arrival Honors for the Fallen 44 SAF Members the Philippine President is nowhere to find at the said arrival honors. The Philippine National Police and Armed Forces of the Philippines on Thursday gave arrival honors to the remains of 42 of the 44 fallen members of the PNP-Special Action Force who were slain in a firefight in Mamasapano town in Maguindanao Sunday.

In a televised speech on Wednesday night, President Aquino said the operation against Marwan and another terrorist, Bassit Usman, was an “actionable intelligence” signifying that security authorities needed to act immediately.

“’Sir, can I proceed with the mission?’ I don’t think I was asked that question… but if they will have to wait for me for their every action, then they will have to contend with other things occupying my attention,” he said.

Meanwhile, PNoy goes to car plant opening as fallen SAF men arrive. After the two-hour arrival honors at Villamor Airbase, the remains of the victims were brought to different funeral parlors.

A necrological service for the fallen heroes is scheduled on Friday at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City.
