BREAKING: DOH confirms MERS-CoV first death in the Philippines

The Department of Health (DOH) on Saturday announced that a Saudi national who arrived in the country last September 17 and showed symptoms of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome-coronavirus (MERS-CoV) has died in RITM.

A foreign tourist in the Philippines succumbed to heart attack which was probably caused by MERS-CoV complications.
