I have been buying DITO Tel Stocks since 2021. My first 1000 stocks were worth 18 and the succeeding stocks with an average of 8 pesos since DITO stocks went down from 18 to 3 pesos as of this writing.
DITO Wifi has been excellent for gaming like Mobile Legends as I have tried and been using it for years now.
Hopefully, DITO stocks will rise this year as they already have 14 million subscribers. As of this writing DITO stock prices still range from P2.80 to P3.20. Elon Musk's internet Starlink already penetrated the market and local internet providers such as Globe Telecom, Smart Telecommunications and DITO should level up their service and data speed to compete with Starlink. Metro Manila residents will have to pay a one-time hardware fee of P29,320 (one-time payment) for a user terminal, while subscription is priced at P2,700 a month.
According to the report from unbox.ph, the current median download speed of Starlink is at 104Mbps, though it can go as low as 65Mbps (in Oregon) and as high as 200Mbps (in South Florida). Compared to fiber internet, you can get speeds of up to 600Mbps (and a landline) with PLDT's Plan 3799, while their Plan 4099 adds a 3-point mesh WiFi system.
