After the Philippine Men's National Volleyball Team's Coach Dante Alinsunurin has been axed as the head coach of the Nation Team Pool. The Roster of the National Volleyball Team begged off to play in SEA Games 2023 in Cambodia. According to Volleytrails report, after Joshua Retamar, Nico Almendras and Bryan Bagunas, more volleyball players decline PNVF's offer. No more Espejo, , Malabunga, Bugaoan, Polvorosa and Sumaguid.
