Tutorial on How to Secure Travel Clearance for Minors Travelling Abroad

Read our tutorial on How to Apply for Travel Clearance for Minors traveling abroad either for vacation or migrating abroad with their parents. Securing a Travel Clearance for our kids can sometimes be tedious especially if you are not "tech-savvy", or if the procedure will be executed online.

Below is the Step by Step Procedure on How to Apply Travel Clearance for Minors travelling overseas.

1. Applicant must register by clicking the “If you do not have an account, kindly register here” tab, follow the instructions. (Magregistro muna sa pamamagitan ng pag pindot ng “If you do not have an account, kindly register here” tab, sundin ang mga kailangan.)
2. If applicant has successfully registered, login and go to Minor Travelling Abroad application form. (Kapag nakapag registro na ang aplikante, mag-login muna at pumunta sa Minors Travelling Abroad Application Form.)
3. Review the documents required before proceeding. (Suriing mabuti ang mga dokumentong kinakailangan bago magpatuloy.)
4. Fill up all required fields in the MTA form. (Sagutan ang lahat ng kailangan sa MTA form.)
5. Upload scanned copies of required documents. (Mag-upload ng mga na-scan na kopya ng mga kinakailangang dokumento.)
6. Check submitted application. (Suriin ang pinunang aplikasyon.)
7. Applicant will receive notification of the successful application via email. (Makakatanggap ng email ang aplikante na matagumpay na aplikayson para sa MTA.)
8. MTA Regional User will assess the submitted online application. (Susuriin ng Regional User ang naisumiteng aplikasyon.)
9. Applicant receives notification of initial assessment. (Tatanggap ang aplikante ng abiso ng paunang pagsusuri.)
10. Applicant receives notification of interview schedule via email. (Makakatanggap ang aplikante ng abiso ng iskedyul ng panayam sa pamamagitan ng email.)
11. Applicant will proceed to DSWD FO on the schedule of interview with the original copies of required and supporting documents. (Magpunta sa DSWD FO sa iskedyul ng pakikipanayam dala ang orihinal na mga kopya ng mga kinakailangang dokumento.)
12. MTA Regional User will encode interview result. If approved, prints payment stub. (I-encode ng MTA Regional User ang resulta ng pakikipanayam. Kung aprubado, iprint ang stub ng pagbabayad.)
13. Applicant will pay MTA application fee at DSWD FO Cash Division/Unit. (Ang aplikante ay magbabayad para sa aplikasyon ng MTA sa DSWD FO Cash Division / Unit.)
14. Applicant must present the Official Receipt to the MTA Regional User. (Ipapakita ng aplikante sa MTA Regional User ang Opisyal na Resibo.)
15. MTA Regional User to encode payment details and print MTA Certificate. (I-encode ng MTA Regional User ang mga detalye ng pagbabayad at i-print ang MTA Certificate.)
16. Applicant will receive the Certificate of Travel Clearance. (Matatanggap na ng aplikante ang Certificate of Travel Clearance.)

The DSWD shall collect a processing fee for each travel clearance issued to minors travelling abroad under the following options: (Ang DSWD ay mangongolekta ng bayad sa pagpoproseso para sa bawat travel clearance na ibinigay sa mga menor de edad na maglalakbay sa ibang bansa sa ilalim ng mga sumusunod na pagpipilian:)

• Php 300.00 with validity of one (1) year. (Php 300.00 na may bisa ng isang (1) taon.)
• Php 600.00 with validity of two (2) years. (Php 600.00 na may bisa ng dalawang (2) taon.)
