Alyssa Valdez is the highest-paid Philippine Volleyball player?

The salaries being received by star players are becoming a cause for concern, according to Premier Volleyball League president Ricky Palou. Mr. Palou did not mention names but when he said star players, Alyssa Valdez should come first on our mind. The earlier report says Myla Pablo has the biggest salary when she was still in Motolite. But maybe Creamline did not reveal that it was actually Alyssa Valdez who is the highest-paid PVL player. I remember when Alyssa played as an import in Thailand. I believed her salary is only P30,000 as she mentioned in an interview. 

When Akari Power Chargers is trying to sign Eya Laure to their roster of player, according to an online report she is supposed to get P800,000 Monthly Salary which may not be true that is why she signed up with Chery Tiggo instead.

Mr. Ricky Palou said that it is going out of hand and he might do something to level-up the playing field. Rookie drafting is being considered next year in the PVL. Alyssa Solomon might join Gerflour and Farm Fresh if this system pursue.
