Philippine Smart Gilas is two wins away for a ticket to Olympics after our last participation on 1972. The Philippine beats the Chinese Taipei, 95-78 to take their place in the semifinals of the 2011 FIBA Asia Championship- (Olympic Qualifier) being held in Wuhan, China. Smart Gilas will face Team Jordan who beat Iran in their Quarterfinals match on September 24.
