Meanwhile the US Embassy in Manila tweeted, that the The Embassy of the United States in Manila and its affiliated offices will beclosed to the public on Monday, August 27th in commemoration of the Philippine holiday, National Heroes Day.
The Embassy and its affiliated agencies will resume their regular services on Wednesday, August 28th.
Commemorates all the nation's heroes throughout history. It is a regular holiday marking the 1896 Cry of Pugad Lawin by the Katipunan, led by its Supremo Andrés Bonifacio, which began the Philippine Revolution.
