Tasking Scam on a Roll at Telegram App

Yesterday, on GMA Network's 'Dapat Alam Mo' Program, a Tasking Scam was featured wherein one person loses P100,000 after sending money to the Group Chat at Telegram created by Scammer.

Prior to that, I already encountered those scammers on three occasions. Firstly they will send you a message on Whatsapp and will offer you, P50,000 to P80,000 salary just by doing some online task at the comfort of your home. They will send P150.00 to your G-Cash account as a welcome bonus and will ask you to enter the group chat to start the task. After doing three tasks which are either you will subscribe to a TikTok Channel or Youtube Channel or you will review/comment and give five stars on Google Map Locations with the link they will provide you will be asked to do a hype task of prepaid task where you need to send a big amount to get a high commission. If you did not perform the hype task on prepaid task then you will be automatically kick-out of the group chat.     

Why the scammers chose the execute their system on Telegram App over Facebook? Simplybecause on Facebook, we have the chance to check if the profile was just created and asked for  "legit checking" on a group or page.

Here's the message from the Group Chat Admin about the Prepaid Task. The bigger money that you will send, the higher the commission, but the money you sent them which will never come back.
